Letter of proposal to Jane Kendall from R. Thomas, January 30, 1835. The letter is written on cream coloured paper that has been folded in half. The letter is two pages in length. On the back of the letter is the address of Jane Kendall on Mary Street, Hampsted Road, along with an English postage mark. Jane did not accept the proposal but married William Hosken in 1840 and emigrated to Guelph, Ontario.
