Letter to Brother Wilford from Ed. Langley, Secretary of the Royal Antediluvian Order of Buffaloes Provincial Grand Lodge of Hamilton & District. Dated February 24, 1938. Letter is handwritten in black ink on the order's letterhead printed in black at the top of the page.
"Royal Antediluvian G.L.O G.L.E. Order of Buffaloes / Provincial Grand Lodge of Hamilton and District / Meets Every Third Friday in the Month, Stafford House Hotel, Main & Charles Sts. at 8.00 p.m."
Letter requests Brother Wilford to "call a summoned meeting of the members of your Lodge [Guelph] for Friday March 4 /38, as it is the intention of the Prov. G. Lodge to pay you a visit on that night, we wish if possible to find out the reason why the Lodge is not functioning as it should be, we have not received the quarterly dues yet for the quarter ending Dec. 1937. And it seems to us that something is radically wrong somewhere, and we are making this visit to try and find out if possible.
