Six page letter handwritten in ink on three pages of cream coloured stationary with the letterhead of "Queen's Hotel," Montreal printed in blue at top of each sheet. Lincoln Goldie writes about arriving at the hotel and talking fishing with the hotel man. The next morning he left Waterloo at 6.30 am, but his horse took ill and let it walk the whole way to Little Germany. Said he saw Estelle's Uncle in Toronto and smoked a cigar with him. On page 4, Goldie writes that he dreamed of Stella and would she like it if he were to visit next Friday afternoon and stay with her until Saturday night or early Sunday morning. Signs letter, "Your own Lincoln."
