Description Program for a concert in aid of the Guelph General Hospital "In Aid of Ye Generale Hospitalle / Ye Old Folkes Concerte" that took place at the Big Town Hall Room on December 14, 1886. Off-white paper with black print on all sides. Printed by Mercury Print.
Text of the program uses non-standard (earlier) spellings.
The concert featured pieces from "Olden Tyme", composed in the 1600- to early 1800's.
Two separate, double-sided pages. The page detailing the concert "notices" and "Ye Programme" has 1887 written on in pencil and another small piece of paper adhered to the centre at the top on the front and other pencil marks on the back.
The second page features advertisements for local businesses and has a piece missing from the centre top and a jagged edge, along which there appears to be something written.
A.J. Little & Co.'s advertisement lists a promotion as being in effect "From now to January 1st, 1887" placing the concert as taking place in December of 1886, not 1887 as penciled in.
