Beige rectangular cardboard notice from the CBC. The front is plain with Mrs. McIlwraith's address written in black ink and a brown stamp in the upper proper left corner with a stamped message "save metals, rags, and waste paper". The other side has the CBC insignia of a Globe with Canada highlighted, with two silver lighting bolts and "CBC RADIO CANADA". There is a typewritten message stating that a message to Mrs. McIlwraith will be aired Jan. 21 1942 between 12 pm and 1 am.
"THE CBC HAS RECEIVED FROM ITS OVERSEAS UNIT A NUMBER OF GREETINGS RECORDED BY CANADIAN TROOPS IN BRITAIN. AMONG THESE IS A MESSAGE DIRECTLY TO YOU."
