Letter of Introduction for A. Wilford from the Royal Antediluvian Order of Buffaloes, Royal City Lodge, No. 11, Guelph, Ontario. Dated February 19, 1938. Handwritten in black ink on the lodge's letterhead which is printed in black: "Royal Antediluvian Order of Buffaloes / G.L.E. G.L.O. ROYAL CITY LODGE, No.11 / Meets Every Fri. at S.O.E. Hall [Tuesday at Royal Hotel, Carden Street has been crossed out] at 8 p.m."
Letter is written by the Royal City Lodge secretary, Thomas Huggett of 167 Ontario St and addressed: "To Buffalo Lodges, G.L.E., Whom It May Concern".
Letter reads: "This will introduce Bro. Alfred Wilford, K.O.M. of the Royal City Lodge #11 of the Grand Lodge of Ontario.
He was one of the founders of this lodge and has always been a very faithful member of the lodge and order ever since. No matter what was to be done he was always willing to do his share, and more, and every brother had full confidence in him at all times.
Knowing Knight Wilford as I do, I take great pleasure in introducing him to any lodge, as he is an honest and true buff, who would be welcomed and appreciated by any lodge where ever it may be. Fraternally yours, Thos. Huggett, K.O.M. Sec."
