Description Hardcover book covered with brown paper. Handwritten inscription in red pencil crayon on cover: "THE MODERN TAILOR / OUTFITTER AND / CLOTHIER." Written bottom right corner: "No. 2". Cover underneath brown paper appears to be dark blue. Edges of pages are speckled blue. Inside covers have brown paper folded over them with brown tape holding the paper down. Cover page has "THE MODERN TAILOR / OUTFITTER AND / CLOTHIER" written at the top, with "New and Revised Edition" written underneath it. "Edited by A. A. Whife". Rest of page has qualifications of the editor, the qualifications of the previous editor, and publishing information. Also has the symbol for the Caxton Publishing company, consisting of a square with a checkered pattern inside it, "Caxton 1474" on a banner across the top, and a drawing of a man with a moustache wearing a headdress. On the opposite page there is a glossy pencil drawing of two men wearing military clothing. Underneath is written: "LEFT. - NAVAL OFFICER'S GREATCOAT. / RIGHT. - ARMY OFFICER'S GREATCOAT (ALTERNATIVE MODEL).".
