Description "City of Guelph Street Guide, 1948-49." 100 page printed booklet that is stapled. Has green paper cover with black printed lettering and City of Guelph Logo. Attached to the inside of the back cover is a pull-out map / street guide of the City of Guelph. Lists all the streets in Guelph, as well as a number of advertisements placed by local businesses. Has a number of b/w photographs of Homewood Sanitarium. On pages 77 to 82 is printed "Historical Story of Guelph."
Printed on cover: "City of Guelph - Street Guide, 1948-49 / Price 39 cents." On page 3 at the bottom is printer's trademark and copyright: Typographical Union Label, Guelph." It also notes: "By the purchasing of this Street Guide, you assist the Guelph Junior Band and The Guelph Police Benevolent Fund."
