Description Page, scrapbook. Beige paper with photographs cut from a newspaper/magazine attached (most likely with glue). Along the bottom of the page is a black and white photograph with rounded edges. B/W photograph is of eighteen people on a stage with pillars, candelabra in the background. All the people are in costumes. Five women in the foreground are in particularly fancy dresses and have a person to hold up their trains. Piece of paper with black typing glued onto bottom of picture, reads: "Scene from the Second Act of "A Waltz Dream,"". Above this photo along the left side of the page there is another photograph, this one positioned sideways (have to turn page to see it properly), photograph has blue tinting. Photograph is of an onstage performance, with a fancy vase, decorated wall, and curtains in the background. There is a woman(Sophie Brandt) on the left wearing a white dress playing the violin looking towards the right of the photograph. On the right there is a man (Edward Johnson) wearing what appears to be a military uniform and hat standing with his chest stuck out facing the woman playing the violin. He is holding the hand of the woman behind him. Woman standing behind the man (Magda Hall) is also wearing a white dress and has flowers in her hair. She is standing close to the man and looking over his shoulder at the other woman. There is a piece of paper with black printing glued to the bottom of the photograph that reads: "SOPHIE BRANDT, EDWARD JOHNSON and MAGDA HALL". To the right of this photograph are two more. The one in the top right corner is a black and white photo of a man (possibly Edward Johnson) holding a woman in a white dress, the photo below it is of the same couple with the man dipping the woman and kissing her.
On the reverse side, there are three B/W photographs. In the upper right corner there is a large black and white photo of Edward Johnson half-sitting on a table, leaning to the left with his arm extended to rest on the table on which he is sitting. He is wearing a three piece suit and looking at the camera. There is a piece of paper with black printing on the photo in the bottom right corner, "EDWARD JOHNSON". Below this photo is another black and white photo of a man. He is wearing a three piece suit, has his hair side parted and is looking to the right of the photographer. Piece of paper with black typing below picture identifies him as "HARRY FAIRLEIGH". To the right of this picture is a black and white photo of a woman.
