Description .1 and .2 - Two paged letter of resignation of membership from The Guelph Musical Society Band from Harry O'Shea. Dated July 1st 1944. Addressed to Norm [Norman L. Philp], the Bandmaster of "38 Bedford Street, City" . Handwritten in black ink on rectangular blue lined buff coloured paper. Written on one side only. Harry O'Shea states that he has been in the band since 1900 and is only leaving now because of heart problems. As librarian, O'Shea expresses his pleasure working with Philp in that capacity and in the band. He commends Philp's for his talent directing the band.
