Invoice; rectangular white paper with purple print letterhead and trademark. Filled in with pencil and stamped with a purple stamp.
Issued to Mr. Fred. Roszell, Clerk, James Metcalfe Sale and dated Oct. 7th, 1930. The invoice records a balance of $7.58" which was stamped paid.
In upper part of invoice is letterhead: "GUELPH, ONT. / TO THE ROYAL CITY PRESS Dr. / O. N. FELKER / PHONE 1414 / Book, Commercial, and all kinds of Color Printing." In upper left corner is company trademark - which has sketches of two printing presses, the company slogan, and address all printed in purple on a white background. It is framed with a thin purple border. - "WHERE THE GOOD PRINTING IS BEING DONE / 53 MACDONNELL ST. GUELPH".
Lower part is lined and divided into four columns with black lines. In handwritten pencil - "Oct. 4 To 50 1/4 Sheet Bills $7.50 / Sales Tax 1% .08 / $7.58". In the lower left corner, stamped in purple: "RECEIVED PAYMENT / WITH THANKS / THE ROYAL CITY PRESS /
