Description Page, Scrapbook. Beige paper with pieces cut from magazines/newspapers glued on. On the top front there is a black and white photograph of a scene from A Waltz Dream. Scene appears to be outside, there is a bandstand centre stage with a woman in it wearing a white dress and playing the violin. There is a crowd of people gathered at either side of the bandstand. All are well-dressed with the women in dresses and the men in military uniform or three piece suits. Piece of white paper with black typing on it: "SCENE FROM "A WALTZ DREAM."". Below this photograph are three photographs glued closely together to form one sequence. The middle section is extended on the end of the two photographs on either end (part of photograph protrudes). The photographs show a man and woman. The man is in military uniform with pants with two white stripes down the sides, jacket with extensive embroidery/decoration, and cap. The woman is wearing a white dress and has her hair up. The first photograph on the left shows the man leaning towards the woman, who is standing with her hands clasped behind her. The centre photograph shows the woman with her hands on the man's chest and the man reaching toward her. The third photo shows the woman standing away from the man, leaning back with her hands at her temples, the man leaning towards her with his hands to the side looking longingly at her. Bottom of photo has white piece of paper glued to it with black printing reading: "The Kiss Duet in "A Waltz Dream" / EDWARD JOHNSON and SOPHIE BRANDT".
Reverse side has a black and white photograph on the middle left. Photograph is a portrait of a woman. she is wearing a white dress and a pearl necklace. She is looking toward the camera with her head tilted to the left, her hand is at her neck touching the pearls. Below this photograph is a black and white head shot of a man. He is wearing a three piece suit, has his hair parted to the side and is looking to the left of the photographer. Piece of paper with black printing at bottom reads: "GRANT STEWART". To the right of this photograph is a smaller round black and white head shot of a woman with dark hair worn up with a hat. She is looking at camera. to the right beside the photo is stamped in black ink "DOROTHY / HAMMOND". In the upper right corner there is an advertisement or program. At the top reads: "ASTOR THEATRE / BROADWAY & 45th St. WAGENHALS & KEMPER / New York City Sole Lessees & Managers". "VIOLA ALLEN" "In the New Three-Act Play. / IRENE WYCHERLEY". Lists players, acts, and the music program.
