CANADA POST CARD; rectangular beige cardboard postcard. On one side is printed in blue: "CANADA POST CARD / THE ADDRESS TO BE WRITTEN ON THIS SIDE." In upper right corner stamped in blue is a one cent Canada Postage stamp with image of Queen Victorian on it.
In handwritten ink, "Mr. Smith, Guelph, Ont / Ladder-maker".
Stamped in lower left corner: "GALT / PM / MAY 26 /86 / ONT."
On reverse side, in handwritten ink is an order from D. Caldwell & Son:
"Galt, May 27/86 / Dear Sir / We would like to get (5000) Cedars from you this spring the same as the last ones. Please let us know by return of mail if you can get them for us without delay at the lowest price cash. Yours Resp. D. Caldwell & Son."
