Money Order. Rectangular buff coloured paper with print in italic blue letters. In the front upper left corner is a red oval with letters in off-white reading: "CANADA " above a crown "INLAND REVENUE / WAR TAX" image of a beaver "TWO CENTS / A A" and at the bottom of red oval is a branch with five maple leafs. Along the bottom of order are three blue 2 cent excise stamps marked "CANADA."
The order is dated:"Guelph , Ont. Dec 23rd, 1924. " The No. of the order is "798."
Inscription on order: "The Dominion Bank / Pay Canadian Pacific Railway Co. or Order/ The Sum of $167 and 36 CTS." In the lower right corner in purple italic letters: " The Kloepfer Coal Co. Per" and F. Kloepfer has signed it in blue ink.
The back has been stamped in purple : "PAY TO THE ORDER OF THE BANK OF MONTREAL / THE CANADIAN PACIFIC RY. CO. / W.E. SUCKLING, TREASURER." Under this stamp is another oval one with the inscription:" Bank of Montreal , Montreal, Dec. 30, 1924."
