Description Wallace Reducing Records "Get thin to Music" Collection. The set consists of a box with records, illustrated lessons and manual, letters, etc.

.1 Lesson 1 Folder. The lesson is a heavy cardstock folded in the centre and opens horizontally. The front and back covers have a picture of Wallace in a workout shirt . "Dictated by Wallace Chicago, USA Copyright 1920 Reg. U.S. Pat. Off." Inside is the 1st lesson. The exercises are photographically illustrated. There are four exercises, each with two steps and each step has a photgraph illustrating what to do. The excercises are leg lifts.

.16 Letter from Wallace to Miss A. Coleman of Toronto about the course. He explains that he is not sure why the exercises didn't work for her the first time but he suggests that she excercise vigorously, make sure the record is spinning at at least 78 revolutions per minute and that she is eating the appropriate amount of food and the right type of food. The letter is written on Wallace Institute letterhead with an illustration of a woman and "Get Thin to Music" in red. the letter is typed but it is signed in black ink by Wallace. The letter is dated January 9, 1926.

.17 6 page pink paper instruction booklet. The booklet is comprised of six pieces of paper, typed, and stapled at the top and backed with a grey card back. The booklet is divided into instructions for each lesson. The front page is printed on Wallace Institute letterhead but the other pages are not.

.18 Booklet "A Woman's Birthright. The booklet has a light green cover with the illustration of part of the Wallace Reducing record on the cover along with a black and white illustration of a thin woman. The booklet contains a note from Wallace with a picture of him pasted on the first page. The book explains how it is every woman's birthright to look good and feel beautiful and how this program will achieve that. There are also testimonials from other woman who were successful using the program. The book is bound by a green thread.

.19 Weight chart on yellow card. One side has a height and weight scale listing what the appropriate weight should be according to height. There are two figures for each height, the bolded figure is the weight for men. On the back side of the card are instructions on how to take the lessons.

.20 6th Lesson Chart printed in green ink on plain paper. The chart shows a woman's figure with a dotted line showing her size before the exercises and a solid line where she should be by the sixth lesson. It also explains what lessons should be focused on to work on problem areas of the body.

In the bottom right corner there is an illustration of a woman and at the bottom in black type is "Get Thin to Music Price $15". The lid is made of cardboard and the bottom side of the lid is missing.
