Promotional Pamphlet that offers a detailed view of Guelph as a prosperous and progressive city to live, work and play in. Off-white rectangular sheet of paper with text and illustration in dark blue print. Folded twice to form three panels that are printed on both sides.
Put out by R. McDonald, Industrial Commissioner of Guelph in efforts to attract new industry and residents to Guelph. Under R. McDonald name is printer's trademark: "Typographical Union Label, Guelph." Date is circa 1905.
Cover has City of Guelph's Coat of Arms in the center. Printed above and below it: "GUELPH / CANADA/ "THE ROYAL CITY" / THE CITY BEAUTIFUL / PROSPEROUS AND PROGRESSIVE."
Printed in blue ink at top of title page: "R.B. Ward".
Reverse side is: "Guelph in a Nutshell" - gives facts and figures about Guelph.
