Paper certificate mounted on cardboard. The certificate was issued by the Masonic Lodge to William Brownlow awarding him for being admitted into the third degree. The text is written in eglish on the left side and latin on the right side and is divided by columns. At the bottom of the certificate there are masonic tools at the base of the columns including a ruler, compass, pen and globes. To the left is a black seal.
