Statement. Off-white rectangular sheet of paper with business letterhead printed in black at top. Letterhead reads: "STATEMENT / GUELPH / IN ACCOUNT WITH THE KLOEPFER COAL CO. -- DEALERS IN -- ALL KINDS OF COAL, COKE AND WOOD/ INTEREST CHARGED ON OVERDUE ACCOUNTS / E. & O.E " In the upper right corner, the date "Sept. 30, 1910" is handwritten in black. The statement is addressed to Mrs. Wall, James St. Beside Mrs. Wall's name is written "64."
The lower half of the invoice is marked off by a double horizontal red line and below this are seven vertical columns marked by lines in red and blue ink.
The invoice is notifying Mrs. Wall that on Aug. 31st she "To account rend. $4.50."
On the back of the statement, written in pencil are notes regarding "Jas. Shepherd" and his account, dates and amounts paid, and that a balance is still outstanding of $3.05.
