Letter is typed in black lettering and is a promotional letter about the benefits of anti-freeze and its availability at the Tolton Bros. Service Station.
The "Cold Weather" season has arrived, and unless the proper precautions are taken it has brought with it "Radiator Trouble" to those who are unwary.
Although the days may be comparatively warm, the nights are quite cold, with considerable frost. Therefore, unless your car stands in a heated garage, the water in it is very liable to freeze. As a precautionary measure against this possibility we would suggest that you drain the water out of the Radiator when the car is put into the garage for the night. It would be advisable to drain the Water Pump also, so as to insure safety.
A minute or so every night, until the cold weather proper sets in, may save you considerable expense, besides the inconvenience of being deprived of the use of your car for a day or two. Later, when the really cold weather arrives, we would suggest that you use an anti-freeze solution in your radiator. Yours very truly, Tolton Bros. Limited."
