Description Letter to W.J. Stephenson, c/o Matthew-Wells Company, Guelph, from the Office of George Drew, the Prime Minister & President of the Council of Ontario. Typewritten and dated "Toronto 2, May 22, 1944." Rectangular sheet of paper folded in half. Engraved in blue at top of front page is the crest or shield of the province of Ontario. Printed in blue below crest: "Office of The Prime Minister & President of the Council Ontario." Letter acknowledges the receipt of W.J. Stephenson's letter of May 20th addressed to the Prime Minister, and assures a response at the "earliest possible opportunity. It is signed "Respectfully yours, J.J. Young."
