Description Sepia toned postcard of the YMCA building at the corner of Quebec and Yarmouth Streets. The building is a brick 4 storey building with stone portico at the entrance. Along the bottom is the caption for the image "Y.M.C.A., Guelph, Can."

The back of the card is a divided back style card with a postmark of Mar 29, 1916 and a red two cent stamp is in the upper right corner. The card is addressed to Mrs. Alexander Hunter, Brampton, Ont.

The card reads:

"Guelph, March 27/16

Dear Aunt Sarah
Just a few lines to let you know we are all well and that I have enlisted with the 153rd Battalion Band. Hope you are all well in Brampton with love from Lorne."
