Micklejohn & Co., Harriston. " Dated "Feby 23rd, 1874. Printed in black: "OPPOSITE THE MARKET, GUELPH, ONT. / BOUGHT OF W. H. MARCON, SEEDSMAN / ORDERS BY MAIL PROMPTLY ATTENDED TO."
Under the letterhead is a double red line, below which are four columns marked off by red and blue vertical lines. Listed in handwritten black ink are items purchased by customer to the amount of "$161.70." Below this along the bottom is a handwritten note: "Dear Sirs / the above was shipped today per G. W. Ry to Harriston - and I trust will prove satisfactory. Wanting other kind orders. I am yours truly, W. H. Marcon."
