Description Minute Book No.1 of the Rainbow Club / Pica Em Club. Black Hardcover book with hand written entries on blue lined paper. The book is written in blue ink. There are newspaper clippings about the group taped in. One such article has a picture of the Rainbow members donating a radio to Veteran Patients (June 1949). The first entry is April 25, 1944 and the last entry is March 28, 1955. At the back of the book is a list of the executive for the years 1949 to 1955. There is also a list of the members of the Rainbow Club for 1949.
Members of the club were Guelph printers' wives.
The entry for January 1953 includes a newspaper article which identifies the members of the Pica-Em Club as including "the wives of the men in the composing room of the Guelph Daily Mercury and the wives of private printers throughout the city."
