Soft brown paper cover with single black line border and printed black lettering on front cover. Inside pages are white with black print. Subject of booklet is specific to the installation of telephone wires crossing railway tracks. Pages 1-5 are issued from "The Bell Telephone Company of Canada, Office of the Plant Manager" and are dated "Montreal, Feb. 1st, 1910. List specifications and conditions regarding "Telephone Wires Crossing Railway Tracks." W.H. Winter, Plant Superintendent, has signed his name to these rules on page 5. Pages 6 -22 are the list of "Rules for Wires Crossing Railways," standard conditions and specifications for wire crossings, by The Board of Railway Commissioners of Canada. This part is signed/approved by J.P. Mabee, Chief Commissioner, and dated Oct. 7, 1909.
