Description .1 This is a collage of two colour photos, one of Moina Michael's grave with lines from "In Flanders Fields" and the other of her birthplace. Below the photos is an envelope created for the first day issue of the Moina Michael stamp. The envelope has "In Flanders Fields" printed on it. Below the envelope is a description of Moina.

"Miss Moina (pronounced Moweena) Michael, was a school teacher from Monroe Georgia, was so impressed with the emotional impact of John McCrae's "In Flanders Fields" that she convinced the American Legion to adopt the poppy as the symbol of remembrance for American War Veterans." is printed on the collage.
