Description Two attached pages creating a two page letter. The front page has a black border. The letter has black ink handwriting which is difficult to read. The second and third pages of the letter have two sets of writing, one overlapping the other at a 90 degree angle. This is very difficult to read. The back of the letter has the address of the receiver and would have been folded to create an envelope. This part has many postal marks, one being from Brooklyn, one from Guelph. There is also a black wax seal on the back which is broken. The letter is a mourning letter from John J. Stone to Frederick W. Stone informing F.W. about the death of their father.
