The cover is beige with black print; in the middle is a photograph of Alex L. Black winning first prize in 1936 (presumably at a plowing match). Contains a 1984 biography of Black's career by the late Rae Stuart, teacher and writer of Guelph - "The Career of Alex L. Black -- Champion Plowman." It also contains an autobiographical look at his own career by Alex L. Black.
