Typed and handwritten minutes of the monthly meetings of the Guelph Ministerial Association from February 14, 1938 to January 14, 1952. Also contains membership list for various years . All meetings signed and seconded.
Minutes are typed in black ink on off-white three ringed paper and placed in a black vinyl covered three ringed binder. Inside front of binder, printed in orange letters: "CPPC / MADISON Ring Binder / No.1102 (MADE IN CANADA)".
Also inserted in an envelope in front of binder is a business card of "Rev. John W. Witzel, Visiting Minister / WELLINGTON SQUARE UNITED CHURCH, Burlington". It was loose within this binder. Handwritten note on card: " Forbes, I discovered this book among my things. It is the minutes of the Ministerial Meetings."
Topics covered in the minutes are financial reports and donations, activities within the community, church services at the Reformatory, policies on preaching missions in the city, YMCA, visiting at the hospitals, Biblical Education in the city schools, Christian education, Sunday Schools, Religious Census Committee, comments on individual ministers (ie. successes; deaths).
