Description .1 and .2 - 2 pages of an amendment to a will written on back of blank David Allan / Guelph Mills Receipt forms. Rough draft written in pencil and very difficult to decipher. On reverse side, printed in red on white paper are blank Guelph Mills Receipt forms: " Guelph Mills, ___187_ /
Received from Mr._____________ Bushels ______Lbs. ________Wheat, at ________Cents per Bushel __________/ _______ Bushels _________Lbs. $______ at _________per bushel.
NOT TRANSFERABLE. DAVID ALLAN."
.1 page 1 of Amendment to Will : "will ????? gives 1/3 to wife / 8 acres to Jeremiah Joseph
1/3 residue to his wife Margaret, her heirs and assi????? in a block at whatever back she and her heirs may choose.
1/3 annual profits during life to be ? ... and if she predeceases ? all legacies bequeathed when as aforesaid be divided equally between all of my ? surviving sons ( except Jeremiah Joseph?????
Share of the balance of ? & pers?al profits. Finally support ? per .. and that he do pay off the mortgage ... and in case ? dies .. the whole of the property bequested to ? shall after his death descend to my other surviving sons ???? alike I direct that the sum of $50.00 be paid by ? a reasonable time after my deceased in the purchase of ? ??"
