Hand written in ink on the front cover in the top right hand corner is the name "Hattie May Smith" (the donor's mother).
At the bottom of page 2 it states "Entered according to Act of the Parliament of Canada in the year 1900 by Roberta Geddes-Harvey at the Department of Agriculture." Front cover has illustrations of two swords, a cannon and a cannonball exploding, printed in black.
4 pages - originally one page, single folded; the pages are now separated. Pencil notes in the music; (ie. at the bottom of page 3 is written "try softer and slower here"). One mark is in red.
