Invoice or Statement; black print letterhead and logo printed on rectangular cream coloured paper with information of purchase written in black ink. Issued to Mess. A & J. Micklejohn, Harriston by Guelph Sewing Machine Co. and dated Sept. 7th, 1880. The invoice is for the purchase of a sewing machine part for 60 cents which was sent by express.
In the upper left corner, is a picture of the Guelph Sewing Machine Factory, under which is printed: "FACTORY / RALPH SMITH & CO., TORONTO". Printed to the right of this picture is: "BOUGHT OF GUELPH SEWING MACHINE CO. MANUFACTURERS OF THE FIRST PRIZE OSBORN HAND & STAND SHUTTLE FAMILY SEWING MACHINES. / W. WILKIE / GUELPH, CANADA".
In the upper right corners are pictures of the "Osborn" and "New Osborn" sewing machines.
