Description Page, Scrapbook. Program for "A Waltz Dream" and b/w photographs of three of the stars of the operetta glued onto cream coloured paper. All portraits/advertisements appear to have been cut from a newspaper/magazine. Upper left corner there is a round studio portrait photograph of a woman (Sophie Brandt) wearing a dress, her hair up, looking at the camera. Below this is another portrait that is in roughly the shape of a cello body. Photograph is of a woman (Magda Dahl) wearing a dress, her hair up, looking slightly to the left of the camera and smiling. Both women have their names glued underneath their photograph. Below this is a photograph of a man ( Edward Johnson) in full costume (white with large embroidery, ornamented and feathered cap, sword at his left hip). His arms are folded in front of him and he is looking to the left of the camera. Along the right side is an advertisement / program, glued together but cut out in three sections. at the top there are two minstrels, one on either side, both facing centre of page. In between them is: "BROADWAY THEATRE / LITT and DINGWALL / LESSEES & MANAGERS". Below this: "WEEK BEGINNING MONDAY EVENING, FEBRUARY 10, 1908. / Evenings at 8.15 Matinees Wednesday and Saturday at 2.15." "THE INTER-STATE AMUSEMENT CO. (Inc). / Frank McKee, President, / PRESENTS A NEW VIENNESE OPERETTA." In large print: "A WALTZ DREAM". Advertisement goes on to list cast, synopsis of scenery, orchestra, and a synopsis of music. n back of page upper left there is a photograph of a woman with a snake armlet, robes, headband and staff. She is holding the staff with both hands and appears to be leaning on it and looking toward the camera with a somewhat anguished look on her face. underneath the photograph there is glued a typewritten piece of paper that reads: "MRS. BEERBOHM TREE, RECENTLY WITH MRS. PATRICK CAMPBELL IN "ELECTRA"".
