Description A newspaper format written on newsprint. The title, "The Daily Miracle" is written in old Gothic print, similar to the Guelph Mercury Font. It has the date, Wednesday, April 1 1992, Vol. 1 No. 1. Weather and news found inside runs along the top.
Top half of the paper cover has stories, headline is "Thomson vows to change". Article was written by 'Clark Kent'. There are 2 black and white photos, one of Ken Thomson and the other of a Guelph Daily Mercury journalist dressed in Viking headgear holding a sign that reads, " Boycott/ The Guelph Daily Mercury/ Southern Ontario Newspaper Guild." Bottom half has another b/w photo of protestors from the University of Guelph in St. George's Square downtown Guelph.
Paper has a total of 4 pages labeled, front cover, 2A, 3A, 1B.
Inside the paper; there is the editorial section, a cartoon and letters. The 3rd page is titled Labour Laughs, 3 b/w pictures can be found on this page, each to do with a different article. Back page is saved for sports and more local news. There are also two "advertisements" found at the bottom of the page for GN and Gotcha 649 Lottery.
