Letter to Mr. N.L. Philp from the Guelph Musical Society Band. Dated April 6, 1938. The letter informs Mr. Philp that he has been unanimously chosen as Bandmaster of the Guelph Musical Society Band. His services are to commence immediately and that he would be paid $300.00 annually. The letter advises him to get in touch with a Mr. Cunningham about rehearsals. It is signed by the secretary-treasurer of the band.
Typewritten letter on white paper which has since been glued to a piece to a piece of cardboard that has been cut out of something. Reverse side of cardboard is red with "SCRAPS" printed in black and red.
