Description Two Copies of Large white rectangular paper with the imprint of a label in the centre. The label was printed from a copper plate. It is rectangular. It has an oval at the top centre with a drawing of a yard with logs in it; horses and buildings and trees are all visible. On the right of the drawing is "GUELPH" surrounded by curvy lines, beneath which is a line for the date: "____________18___" Underneath the oval is "Bought of WILLIAM ALLAN, MILLER, DISTILLER, RECTIFIER & c." Beneath this is the terms: "TAKE NOTICE._ All Barrels intended to be returned must not be exposed to the weather. Also, that the hole for the tap must be bored at least two inches from the chime otherwise the head will be injured" These terms are enclosed within a set of double lines. There are two copies of this label which look exactly the same.
