White rectangular postcard with two different images on front, on the left is an image of the globe with North and South America in red. "GUELPH" is printed relatively large, starting at Hudson's Bay. The globe is sitting in clouds. "I've Traveled Near, I've Traveled Far" is written above the globe and "Surely is a Star" is written below, both in black. On the right of the postcard is an image of a hobo in black and white with the sack on a stick over his shoulder and tattered clothing and shoes. He is standing on a railway with hills in the background. On the reverse side of the postcard are two postmarks. One states "Guelph, Ontario Apr 14 4PM 1913." The other has been partially ripped where the stamp was removed, "Guelph's Old Home We... 1913 July 28-Aug..." The hand writing says "Miss F Allen/ Welland/ Ont./ c/o Cordage House".
