Description Christmas Card; rectangular cream coloured cardboard folded in half. The front cover has a brown double line print border, in which is printed in green and brown: "Christmas Greetings 1914 / Compliments of the Mercury Carrier Boy", In the middle, printed in green is a picture of Santa standing with a sack overflowing with toys.
On opening the card, the left side is blank and the right side, printed in brown is a pictorial repeated graphic of a boy running to deliver the newspaper. This graphic is at the top and bottom of the page. Inside these horizontal lines is printed a Christmas greeting from the newsboy. The greeting ends with :"And the carrier boy in war times, the same as when peace was here, Extends the season's best greetings, and bids you Christmas cheer."
