Rectangular sheet of onion paper white black type-print. It is a statement of service of Capt. Howitt for the 11th Filed Regiment of the RCA. He began as a gunner in 1937-1939, then seargent, 1939-40; 2nd Lieutenant, 1940-42, and finally as Top Lieutenant in 1942. The sheet is signed by Capt. P.P. in blue ink and in green in there is a star by the date of his service as . The star corresponds with a star near the bottom of the page that says "SHOULD READ 4-8-42"
