Description A beige book, yellowed with age, titled "The King's Daughter's Cook Book" in red writing. The title inside add's to the title "And Domestic Helps". The book was compiled by the Guelph Circle of the King's Daughters, from St. Andrew's Church in Guelph. The book was created in 1908 and is worn from frequent use.

The recipes are from various women. The book contains advertisements from various companies in the city. The front page on the inside of the book contains handwritten words of "Jean Scott", "Janet McCrae", and "Janefield Christmas 1908". On the back cover is a page from another book pasted to the back, upside down. It is giving instructions of how to measure properly when cooking.
