Description Christmas postcard with image Santa Claus in red suit ringing a gold bell. He has two sacks with patches of toys with a doll and sled sticking out of one of them. A stocking hangs from the capital "M" of the verse "May you lack naught to make yours a most happy Xmas" . Gold bricks with a leaf of holly.The postcard is addressed to Master Ernest Spalding of 24 Lyon Ave., City and postmarked 1913 in Guelph. The card is from Percy and handwritten on back "Look out for Santa: he's coming sure." The postcard has a 1 cent Canadian stamp in top right corner.
