|Year Range to||1909|
Thanksgiving postcard with cartoon little girl, her dog and a turkey. The little girl is standing between the turkey and the dog who is peering over her shoulder. Behind her back she is holding an ax which is unapparent to the turkey. In the top right corner there is a little calendar of the month of November 1909. Directly underneath that there is text which says, "Resolved that we should be thankful there is a hardware store here with a repeating, where they put the ax in prices when making goods -in the beginning- Buster Brown & Tige: You will never be overcharged at McMillan Bros."
On the back of the postcard there is a typed advertisement, where the message would typically be. It says, " We are Agents for Guelph for Ruberoid Roofing, Sherwin-Williams Paints, Genuine Plymouth Binder Twine, National Cream Separators, Galt Robes, Saskatchewan and Manitoba Taylor's Eye Witness Cutlery.
We can save you money. Give us an opportunity to quote you prices. McMillan Bros. Guelph, Ont."
