Description Brochure, "Mr. Chas. Kelly, Bass Soloist, Dominion Square Methodist Church / TEACHER of Vocal Culture, Italian Method / Also Thorough Instruction on Guitar and Mandolin". Off-white paper with black print, folded in half to form a four page brochure. Front cover has a b/w photograph of Mr. Chas. Kelly sitting playing his guitar. At bottom of front cover, is the note to apply at Featherstone Piano Rooms, 2239 St. Catherine Street. In centre of brochure, on left side is a recommendation, dated "Chicago, Ill., October 14, 1892, from another voice teacher, J. Wheeler, Principal of the Vocal Dept. of the North Western University, Evanston. Under this is information about the terms or cost of music lessons with Mr. Kelly. It also notes that he is open for concert engagements as a vocal and Guitar Soloist. The right side lists various press notices in which Mr. Kelly's talent is praised. Back of brochure are more testimonials from various newspapers, the last one is from the pastor of the Congregational Church, Spokane, Wash. and is dated June 15th, 1893".
