Commemorative History of St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Guelph, Ontario written by Dr. W. Stanford Reid and printed in April 1980 by Moyers & Smart Limited, Mississauga, Ontario. Celebrates 150th year anniversary of St. Andrew's. Blue and white paper cover with image of church and fancy border. The book is divided into 5 chapters and an epilogue. The chapters details the history of the church. There are a collection of b/w photographs in the middle of the book which include past ministers and interior and exterior shots of the church and memorial plaques to commemorate those members who were killed in World Wars I and II. Hand-made envelope. Made by David Allan and originally used to hold his sketches and photographs. Rectangular brown paper, such as that used in paper bags, folded over and glued to a brown rectangular card as the backing. On the front is a handwritten note in black ink signed by D.Allan. "A few of the Water-color SKETCHES made and some of the PHOTOS taken, in the effort to preserve old landmarks. So far, have produced 40, in color, with about two dozen still to do, while the photos may represent about double that number. 1877 Map of the Town of Guelph with 1890 markings of sewers and watermains surveyed by T.W. Cooper. The map has three illustrations at the top. One of City Hall, one of the Town of Guelph and one of the Court House and Jail. The map has painted red dots to mark water valves and watermains. On the back of the map is written in black pencil "1877 Cooper Map with waterworks system" The map is attached to a wooden dowel at the top and bottom that is painted black. The map is varnished.
