Promotional Letter. White rectangular paper with black print and purple type. Letterhead at top: " TRAVELLING GOODS A SPECIALTY / PHONE 286 / Neill The Shoe Man / FINE FOOTWEAR / FOR MEN, WOMEN and CHILDREN / GUELPH, ONT." Typewritten letter dated Nov. 1912 and addressed to "Dear Madam: " The letter advertises products for sale in the store. It concludes "Respectfully, NEILL THE SHOEMAN / H. E. Cosford, Manager. / P.S. See our Rubbers. Made to fit any shoe, made to stand hard wear; the kind that keep the feet warm and dry."

Rural Route Directory for South Wellington and Surrounding Districts, 1933. The cover is brown card stock and in the upper left corner is a hole where the directory could be hung. The book is staple bound and is 40 pages in length. On the covers and throughout are ads from different businesses. The directory covers Guelph (pages 13 - 21), Puslinch, Rockwood, Elora, Fergus, Arthur, Ariss, Alma, Erin, Hillsburgh and belwood.

240 page book with cardstock cover dedicated to the "Thirty-Sixth Annual Report of the Educational Society of The Methodist Church Canada 1919-1920." The cover is surrounded in a double line border with stylized clover flowerettes in the corners. The second page lists the board of education members, page 3-9 is a foreward, page 11 "Objects of the Educational Society," page 13 "Suggestions to Pastors." 15-55 "reports of Intuitions, page 56 to end of book are the financial statements of various Canadian districts. The Guelph District is listed on page 135 under Norfolk St. Church, Dublin St. and Paisley Memorial.

Receipt, white with black and red print. Issued to Mr. Spalding of 24 Lyon Ave. from Neill the Shoe Man. The top of the receipt has the phone number and address of the sender an it's various business locations. The bottom half has listed the exact purchase of Mr. Spalding. A pair of children's rubber boots, 2.75. Below this is a purple stamp marked PAID and R. Neill and the date as well as a signature of the manager of franchise owner, H.E. Cosford. "NEILL THE SHOE MAN (H.E. COSFORD) BOOTS, SHOES, TUNICS, AND VALISES, TERMS STRICTLY CASH, ACCOUNTS DUE WHEN RENDERED, 7 PER CENT PER ANNUM INTEREST CHARGED ON OVERDUE ACCOUNTS."
