Names of men who enlisted during World War II. Those killed were also listed. The Frame is zebra stripped (painted black over brown). The page is yellowed with a leather-looking texture. There is a maple leaf boarder; red, yellow, orange, and green. The heading is in red and green. There are four coat of arms (? shields); left is white with a red 'X', and a shamrock over top, Middle is the biggest of the British emblem (blue, red and white), above middle is white with red cross, and a poppy on either side and the dates '1939' & '194-' in a small banner. 2014.82.2 - Certificate, Registration

Large charter for the Tobacco Worker's International Union to Local number 323. Printed in black and gold with an image of a tobacco plant (printed in green) behind most of the text. 5 cm in from the edge of the paper is a gold border. Inside each corner of the border is the same repeating pattern of gold filigree. The words "Tobacco Worker's" and "Charter" are printed in gold; all other text is black. In the bottom left corner is a gold seal with " Tobacco Worker's International Union ORG. MAY 25 1895" stamped around the edge. In the center of the seal are two olive branches overlapping at the bottom and two hands intertwined in a handshake. The text reads: Tobacco Workers' International

Paper is a cream colour, heavier weight than average paper and has a slight texture to it. A watermark is visible when held up to the light; "BYRONIC" with Recycling symbol (three arrows bent to form a triangle) below the "O". The watermark also includes four straight vertical lines running from top to bottom. The letter looks as if it was computer generated and probably mass produced. Even the signature looks pixelated. Probably handwritten once and scanned or photocopied. Letter was probably sent with book or placed inside book that was produced for the fortieth anniversary of the Imperial Tobacco plant in Guelph. Paper is a cream colour, heavier weight than average paper and has a slight texture to it. The bottom edge is deckled (uneven and meant to look like homemade paper). The letter and text looks as if it was computer generated. A watermark is visible when held up to the light; there is a word written in cursive and an oval shaped design. However with the writing directly on top of the watermark both the word and design are hard to distinguish. The watermark also includes a series of straight horizontal lines running from side to side and top to bottom. Text is printed in black, grey and reddish-brown. Large plastic reuseable Player's Light tobacco (empty) canister with lid. The canister is an opaque white colour. The lid is an opaque navy blue colour. It has a rounded edge that moves into a slightly convex shape. "Player's" is stamped into the plastic around the edge of the lid four times. It has a rounded edge that moves into a slightly convex shape. Three tobacco leaves inside of a circle are moulded to be raised from the top of the lid. Unopened carton of Marlboro Canadian cigarettes king size. The carton contains ten packages each with twenty cigarettes in the pack for a total of two hundred cigarettes in the carton ("10/20-200"). The outside packaging of the carton is wrapped in paper with the product label and Health Canada warning labels printed on it. The bottom of the label is a cream coloured background with "Marlboro Canadian cigarettes king size" and the Marlboro logo all printed inside of a white box.
