Sleeman, President / John Crowe, Sec.-Treas. / Mercury Steam Print."

Book "A Social History of Riverslea" by M. Ruth Tatham. The book is spiral bound with a laminated drawing of the front of Riverslea on the front cover and the back of the home on the back cover. The author has signed the book and it is dated 1983. The book contains a history of the building and many photographs.

Booklet "Records of the Wellington County Historical Society Volume 1, 1932" The booklet is soft cover with a stapled binding. The cover is light grey with black type. The booklet is 18 pages and includes black and white images. The first article is "The Milling Industry Guelph and Vicinity" by David Allan. The article looks at the Canada Company Mill, Allan's Mill, the Red Mill, Victoria Mill, People's Mill, Wellington mill, Speedvale Mill, Phoenix Mill, and Fergusson's Mill. There are also articles on the history of Mount Forest, Elora, The Carter Family, and some early settlers written by Jean McCrae Matthews.

2012.117.610 - Indenture

A indenture between Guelph General Hospital and James Owen Goldie. The document is folded into a pamphlet, printed in blue ink and is nine pages in length. The document is dated February 25th, 1920. The back of the indenture is stamped with blue ink. The stamp indicates that the indenture was entered and registered in the Registry Office. The stamp is dated April 26th, 1928. At the top of the document the numbers 0089-02 are handwritten in pencil. These numbers represent the old catalogue numbers used by the GGH Alumnae Association.

Large scrapbook with a yellow/brown cover and black binding. There is a ribbon that is threaded through two steel peg holes on the binding to keep it together. Cover has a thin decorative border. Inside pages are brown, and have a collection of photographs, newspaper articles and paper invitations glued to them. Some pages are blank but most are filled. Photos are mostly of family members/people, tomb stones, and some buildings.

On the front of the building, although partially covered by trees, it says: "The James Goldie Co. Limited". There is a second lighter stone building attached to the first building (behind). There are some trees along the shore. On the reverse it says: "About 1930. The James Goldie Co. Limited. Note: The the Old Great West Station, Office of the Goldie Co."

On the side, there are four rows of windows with two windows in each row. There is a darker and shorter building attached to the stone building. It has a porch. There is another building on the left and a small shanty on the right. The lot is surrounded by trees. Speedvale avenue is on the right side of the photograph.
