Receipt; Rectangular, beige receipt with black printing on the top giving phone number, name, and description of company. The date is stamped on with a purple stamp and the name of the client is written in black ink. Below this in black ink between blue and pink lines is a description and price of charges. At the very bottom there is a blue stamp marked paid with the date and it is signed by J. Gowdy. "MR. JOHN SPALDING, DEC 3 2150 HUT COAL 7.53, DEC 28, 2002, HUT COAL 7.00, JAN. 21 2000 HUT COAL" ETC. Printed along horizontal red line is: "KELSO, PRINTER".

Booklet , entitled "The Royal City of Canada, Guelph and Her Industries" - Special Industrial Souvenir Number of the Guelph Daily Mercury, Guelph, Canada" published by Authority of the City Council and Guelph's Old Home Week Committee. Printed in 1908 for Guelph Home Week and booklet has a programme for the festivities occurring from Sunday to Thursday on pages 6 to 8. On page 54 is an index of the contents of the booklet. 75th Anniversary Souvenir Booklet for Dublin Street United Church. The booklet is soft cover with a blue textured cover with gold print. The booklet is staple bound. The title is "Souvenir of 75 Years of Dublin St. United Church of Canada Guelph 1874-1949". The booklet is twelve pages and include black and white images.

Black and white slide of stores along the north side of Carden Street West, circa 1900. The leftmost sign reads "Gowdy Bros. Coal & Wood" with another sign for "Coal and Wood" next to it on the right. A black sign with white letters reads "W.T. Doughty", while the rightmost sign, in the top corner, says "The Happy Thought Range". All buildings are two storeys except for the leftmost building which has at least three. Many buildings have light-coloured awnings over the front. A lot of people are walking along the street, and many are riding horse-drawn buggies and carriages.

Black and white slide of an elevated view of downtown Guelph in 1905. Carden Street is running along the bottom of the photograph. There are a few horses with wagons and carriages along the street and one street car at the left of the photograph. Some businesses visible on Carden St. include the Central Hotel and Massey-Harris Co. Ltd. Farm Implements. Just visible at the far end of the street, from right to left, are McCormack & Robinson stoves (advertising the 'Happy Thought Range'), T.P. Heffernan, and Gowdy Bros. Coal & Wood.
