Cream coloured newspaper with black print. The Guelph Weekly Mercury, June 7, 1877. There is no huge headline but some of the front page stories are :"Wellington County Council" "Local News Items" Wellington June Sessions" "The War In The East". The paper is eight pages (four double sided). .

Program for the Guelph Turf Club Fall Races, held at the Guelph Race Course on September 4th and 5th, 1879. Small pink paper, single folded to form a four page program. Black printed lettering. Front cover advertises "$1,000 in Premiums" and lists the officers of the Guelph Turf Club at the bottom. Printed along bottom of front cover is printer's name - Guelph Herald Steam Printing House. Inside two pages list the races for the First and Second Day. Back page lists the Rules and Regulations, admission price, time races commence and information about rail transportation for visitors and horses.

There is an illustration of the Administration building on the cover with a banner "1874-1924" on the sides of the image. Above the image it reads "Ontario Agricultural College Science with Practice" Below the image is "Issued under the authority of the Hon. John S. Martin, Minister of agriculture Province of Ontario on the occasion of the Semi-Centennial of the College June 1924". Inside the booklet tells the history of the college and some of its faculty.
