Street Guide. Small blue street guide with navy blue writing on the cover. On the inside are photographs and advertisements for local services and industries. The locations of all the streets in Guelph are listed. Dated 1955. "Proposed Street Name Changes after 1956" can be viewed on page 103. Illustrations: Printed Printed on cover: "CITY OF GUELPH STREET GUIDE" "PRICE 35 CENTS". At bottom of page 3 is printed that the street guide has been sponsored by "the Guelph Police Association 1955 with the support of our advertisers." Under this is copyright and trademark of "Typographical Union Label, Guelph." No of Pages: 112

Street Guide for City of Guelph, 1955. A small book listing streets, businesses etc. The exterior cover is blue and the interior is cream coloured paper with black ink. Printed on cover in blue print: Guelph Coat of Arms with text::" ..City of Guelph.. Street Guide / Price 35 cents". On page 3, it notes that this street guide "is sponsored by the Guelph Police Association 1955 with the support of our advertisers. / (COPYRIGHT) trademark of Typographical Union Label, Guelph." McLean's Magazine article, "The Royal City," by Frederick Edwards. Published October 15, 1940. Six loose pages torn from original magazine. 12 pages (25-30, 58-61). Illustrations: B/W Article gives history of Guelph and its development and talks about some of the city's more famous citizens. B/W photographs of Guelph people and landmarks. Some pages have strips of colour on advertisements for accent.

Program, "Guelph Centennial Old Home Week Official Programme, August 1-6, 1927". Rectangular pale yellow paper cover, stapled, with black printed lettering. City Crest is on front cover. Inside pages are off-white with printed black text and b/w pictures of various public buildings and sites in Guelph. Contains a schedule of events for each day of Old Home Week, as well as small essays about the past and present history of Guelph. Included are two poems: "Guelph - Our Heritage" by Anne Sutherland; and "In Flanders Fields" by Lt. Col. John McCrae. As well there are numerous commercial advertisements placed by Guelph businesses. It also includes various pictures and articles on the city and its institutions, as well as advertisements. There is an article on the Guelph War Memorial (in Trafalgar Square) which was to be unveiled at this time. Book is stapled. Pages are light brown paper with black printed lettering and B/W illustrations. No. of pages - 36.

The Torch 1944 Yearbook Vol. XI. The book has a light brown cover with and illustration of a hand holding a torch. The book tells of the happenings of the Col John McCrae Branch of the Legion over the year 1944. The book is also filled with ads of local businesses.

75th Anniversary Souvenir Booklet for Dublin Street United Church. The booklet is soft cover with a blue textured cover with gold print. The booklet is staple bound. The title is "Souvenir of 75 Years of Dublin St. United Church of Canada Guelph 1874-1949". The booklet is twelve pages and include black and white images.
