Program for a concert in aid of the Guelph General Hospital "In Aid of Ye Generale Hospitalle / Ye Old Folkes Concerte" that took place at the Big Town Hall Room on December 14, 1886. Off-white paper with black print on all sides. Printed by Mercury Print. Text of the program uses non-standard (earlier) spellings. The concert featured pieces from "Olden Tyme", composed in the 1600- to early 1800's. Two separate, double-sided pages. The page detailing the concert "notices" and "Ye Programme" has 1887 written on in pencil and another small piece of paper adhered to the centre at the top on the front and other pencil marks on the back. Booklet, "Guelphscape 70"...The Field Trip." Don Coulman compiled this 50 page booklet is dated Friday October 24, 1970. This is a photocopy of the original typewritten booklet. The contents are divided into five sections: a map of the field trip route; the field trip programme itself; notes including references; "how it was done"; and "Field trip suggestions." The field trip begins at King George School and covers what was the more historic areas of Guelph and its downtown. Guelph Collegiate Institute Annual Commencement Program, held at the Opera House, Friday, November 24,1899. The program has a green paper cover with blue and gold print. On the inside front cover is an illustration of GCVI. The next page lists the staff and Board of Education and the following four pages list the prize winners from 1893 to 1899. There are two pages listing the evening's program and then the remaining four pages list the graduates in the different forms. On the inside back cover is a stylized gold wreath with the Latin motto of the school in gold print "Hic patet ingeniis Campus". Below that, in blue print is "Royal opera House Friday, Nov. 24th, 1899."

Invoice slip from the Ontario Bank Guelph Bank to G. D. Pringle for $508.00. The invoice slip/promisory note reads "four months after date I promise to pay the order of G.D. Pringle tread St Andrews Church at the Ontario Bank Guelph five hundred and eight dollars for value received". At the bottom it is signed by W.B. Caneau. The invoice has been stamped by the Ontario Bank and is post marked by the Ontario Bank Feb 14 1883. On the left there is a black and white image of a man seated in a chair.

2015.11.1.1 - Case, Eyeglasses

Brown leather over a hard cardboard. The inside near the top is lined with a small piece of black fabric (felt or velvet). Leather is tooled and filled in with black around the edges to create the look of a seam. The case is curved at the bottom and has a cut out opening at the top. Embossed onto front of case and filled in with a gold colour "G. D. Pringle Optician Guelph Ont."

Thin metal gold colour frame with small circular lenses. The metal bridge around the nose is a slightly wider metal with a high arch. The arms are slightly curved and fan out at the end.
